Inspired by my personal experiences in high school, the script explores the issue of credentialism in Taiwan and the problem of bullying in schools. To ensure it would be a compelling story, I enrolled in a free online writing course and sought guidance from a seasoned writer. Because it was a detective-type story, I divided the plot into several smaller segments and then randomly pieced them together to create new narrative timelines until I found the most captivating version. To emphasize that everyone has their own perspective, I crafted four storylines for each character and interconnected them to form the main storyline. We even used Instagram accounts, owned by each character in the play, to provide information from their perspective to different groups of audiences, wondering what impact social media would have on them.
